Yep, it’s back up! I plead spazz. I got notifications that the domain renewal was coming due, I knew domain renewal was coming due, and I… flaked. I even knew it was going to expire yesterday. I got nuthin’. I wasn’t even broke. (For once.)
So we’re good for another year. I’m even saving ahead to renew hosting when that comes due, so that the money is there and I shouldn’t have any stupid complications. I pay it annually because it comes out to much, much less per month.
Stuff’s going okay here. I have a job interview tomorrow. I already have a job, but it was basically a stop-the-bleeding endeavor, which it has accomplished admirably. I have therefore been putting money aside and I now have a grand more than I did when I first moved here. But I have been wanting to improve my situation further, and I guess the stars aligned just right for once. I won’t bore you here with details just because this isn’t my personal homepage; it’s just been really weird how things sort of came together. But we’ll know for sure with the outcome of the interview.
If that leads to stabilization and a regular routine again the way this has, and if I can stop being a fucking spazz for five fucking minutes, I should start working on this again. I make no promises because we see what that would be worth, but it is definitely something I want to do. Whatever people think of the site as it is now, it needs to be better. I’m behind. Grump.
